A 19-year-old young man died on Thursday after receiving a blow to the chest while playing football in Rosario. According to local reports, the victim, identified as Facundo Uriel R., had collided with another teammate during the match, causing him to start convulsing at the sports complex known as "Polifútbol." The young man's friends took him by car to the Roque Sáenz Peña Hospital, where doctors confirmed his death.
The owner of the place, Pablo, mentioned to Cadena 3: "The boy was running with the ball, passed it, and collided head-on with another. It wasn't a ball hit." Meanwhile, the director of the hospital, Lucrecia Benedetto, explained: "He came into the emergency department brought by friends. Advanced cardiovascular resuscitation was immediately initiated, and this procedure was performed for 45 minutes with an unfavorable result, and death was declared."
